It's hard to decipher who is correct and which is the most accurate report on the status of Baghdad.  Most people that report there are usually younger reporters with less experience with this type of situation and therefore give a more grim perspective.  I prefer hearing from the more experienced reporters who have been to this type of situation before and can give a more accurate reporting on what the situation actually is.  From what I've seen from that perspective, it looks pretty bleak and grim.
