lost in all of that were the facts that :
1) the CIA created Al Queda ( fact )
2) the CIA funded and trained Al Queda ( fact )
3) Bin Laden was (and still is?) a paid CIA operative ( fact )
4) Bush prevented the arrest of Key Al Queda members just before 9/11 - outraged, several CIA and FBI members resigned because of this

Personally, I think they're STILL under the direction of the CIA, just as they were durring the Afgan/Russian war.

I think they're simply a tool used to influence policy and public opinion, as without them, we'd not have control over the key parts of the world we currently have control over.  We needed a sufficientlt shocking enough event to start it all and now the pieces are on the table for globalization, one country at a time.

let me introduce you to  www.google.com

seriously, this is all public knowledge and admited to by the CIA, the only people who don't know it are those that get ALL their news from the mainstream media.  Remember, it's not what they tell you that's the bad thing...it's what they DON'T tell you.

just a quicky for you..I hope this plants the seeds of doubt and helps to pull the blinders off..even if it's just a little bit.

"Al-Qaida,(sic) literally 'the database,' was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians," admits former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, whose Foreign Office portfolio included control of British Intelligence Agency MI-6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), in a column published by the UK Guardian newspaper.

In other words, the so-called Al Qaeda, which has been promoted by the Media Cartel as the cause of all bombings and terrorism since the destruction of the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001, is simply a database of CIA trained "terrorists" (or "freedom fighters," depending on your perspective) which has become a convenient Global Boogeyman for the 21st Century.

What does this mean? The entire planet has been fooled into believing that an Islamic "organization" exists to promote the destruction of Western society, when in fact this "organization" is just a list of Pentagon/ CIA trained assassins, who can be used and discarded as needed.

taken from the first link I found in google.
I didn't want to believe this stuff either 5 years ago.....but the CIA doesn't even dispute this stuff any more, they've admited as such..
this is common knowledge now.

Thanks for the sarcasm.  You stated an opinion, I asked you to prove it.  Do you say the same thing with someone in public? "What, you don't agree? GOOGLE IT!" You'd probably get a punch in the face pretty fast.

Either way, you have not.  All you have is hearsay and conjecture.

Either way as well, yes, they were trained for the war against Russia, but they are not run currently by the CIA.  All that ended with the emergence of the Taliban.

Herein lies the problem.

None of us here sits in on the intelligence briefings the CIA delivers.  None of us here works for the CIA.  None of us is a member of Al Qaida.  So any amount of speculation, pro government or anti government, is based on things we've heard, things we've read, our personal feelings about the players involved, and a sprinkling of probability and intuition.

Assuming that the reason I don't buy into the conspiracy is because I don't wish to believe it, or that I am a slave to the "corporate media" is a two way street.  I could just as easily accuse you of being paranoid of anyone who has more power or money or both, than you do.  But we'd both be wrong.

I'm glad that you have an opinion, even a differing one about the issue.  Democracies celebrate that freedom.  Just understand that it's unfair to make the claim that those who disagree are living in darkness, below your shining enlightenment.

I stopped arguing on the internet when I got acute carpal tunnel syndrome in early 2002.

Mostly because the GameCube's post-launch game lineup sucked. Yeah, thanks Nintendo.

"The epitomy of irony" ?
"The epitome of irony?"

fixed.

Quote
"Al-Qaida,(sic) literally 'the database,' was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians," admits former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook
dig a little deeper.  "The name "al Qaeda" was established a long time ago by mere chance. The late Abu Ebeida El-Banashiri established the training camps for our mujahedeen against Russia's terrorism. We used to call the training camp al Qaeda [meaning "the base" in English]. And the name stayed. " source- Oct. 2001 interview with Usama Bin Laden. hmmm...

"so-called" Al-Qaeda?  are you going to deny there is an "international fundamentalist Sunni Islamist paramilitary organization comprised of independent and collaborative cells that all profess the same cause of reducing outside influence upon Islamic affairs" simply because of the origins of their nickname?  would you feel better if we simply called them "The World Islamic Front"?  I mean, that is after all their chosen name.  Nah, we'd hurt too many muslims feeling if we did that.  How about, "al-Jabhah al-Islamiyya al-'Alamiyya li-Qital al-Yahud wal-Salibiyyin".  just rolls off the tongue doesn't it.  But hey, these are probably just more names for the bogey-men the Military Industrial Entertainment Fundamentalist Christian Zionist Complex cooked up.

here, why don't you go ahead and google "jihad against zionists and crusaders" and see what you come up with.  blaming their purpose and existence on the CIA and holding your hands over your eyes and ears while trying to deny who and what they are is no different than what you accuse others of doing here.  or are you honestly going to sit there and tell us that the CIA is behind the jihad pulling all the strings?  are you going to tell us the CIA was behind Maktab Khadamāt al-Mujāhidīn al-'Arab?

there's a very real fucking war going on whether you choose to acknowledge it's existence or not and it's not about fucking oil or democracy.  it's about whackjob stone-aged camel fuckers wanting to wipe you and yours off the face of the planet with extreme prejudice and they don't give two shits about your ideals or moral highground.  you are not human to them.

normally I just ignore this shit but it's getting fucking old hearing conspiracy theorists cackling their mantras in the hopes that one day their deep-seated fears will be realized so they can scream at the top of their lungs, "OMG, I TOLD YOU SO!".  it's even older hearing them continually fall back on the "I'm smarter than you are because I'm a free-thinker and I know a seckrat!"  You suck down whatever the random nutcase du'jour shits out and treat it just as much like gospel as the "sheeple" you profess not to be a part of treat the mainstream media.

Thanks for your consideration.

and my spelling is terrible ....  also I dont attach to every nutcase journalist I post on here. I try to form an opinion on what doesnt contradict itself. Alot of what I link to has conflicts but I dont sort through them and weed them out. I like to post them and let other people respond. Just like you did.  Keep posting, flaming or not.
