as for the iranian pres to say that hes a douche BUT, israel is by no means a friendly neighbor. They are a strong armed bully, for reasons they may deem justified, but nonetheless they treat their neighbors like scrap meat. I mean the gaza strip is an embarrassment. And they defied a UN mandate since what 1967 ? To pull out of Gaza..... how long is that ?

The best way to defeat an army dependant on technology is to do it on foot, and for that you really need numbers, as the mess in iraq has shown.

No one in this lebanon thing has enough numbers of foot soldiers to do the job well, hence the relative quickness of both sides accepting the ceasefire.
