i think the big difference between the movies mentioned and this world trade centre movie is that the wounds are still raw from the terrorist attacks and the events following it have been controversial and the topic of many hot debates.  people just feel that the timing isn't right because it's adding fuel to the fire although i've heard that the movie itself tries to only touch on the couple people trapped and not the other events surrounding it in order to ntot be controversial.  either way, this movie looks like it simply panders to emotion and manipulates in that sense rather than making a geniunely emotional movie and unless i hear anything good abot it, i won't see it.

do any charities make any money from this movie?

I will not go see this movie.

I still can't bring myself to go to Ground Zero, let alone go to a theater to revisit events that are still clearly in my mind.

revisiting is one thing, remembering and not to forget is another.

Hmm, not knowing where my husband was for hours and keeping myself together for the sake of my daughters till nearly 12 hours after the attack, when he finally called to let us know that he was ok and then going for more than a week without seeing him and my daughter being traumatized because of it, i can assure you that I will never forget.
