I'm not sure if anyone knows about this, but there is a ridiculous MMORPG for football fans. You can create your player for any position, level up after you play enough games (or buy points with irl money) and make you player better. You can get traded if you want...tons of things. If you really love it...you can even make your own team. Build your own Stadium and all that crap...its crazy...and free!
Now, granted you have to spend real money to buy a team, you can create a character for free. It also is currently in beta, so...yea...
