Well, I think my team is pretty strong but it all depends on how split carries are handled amongst teams and how well QB's do...as well as injuries...we will see.

I absolutely REFUSE to have a fucking EAGLE on my team.  So who wants to trade for Westbrook?!?!?!?

And I don't want LT.

I am pretty happy with my team. Wish I could have been there to draft a freaking running back or two that is actually worth a damn :/

I think that will be my downfall. Unless one of these young guys has a career year.

Because I can't sleep:

no order:

chew: gonna be real tough if Brady does even close to as well as he did last year
me: hard to tell, I've got too many geezers on the brink of retirement, and I'm weak at QB
spec: I don't think Roeth will have as good a year as last, and Larry Johnson is a BIG question mark in my book
joel: picked pretty damn well despite autopick
bri: pretty great team except at RB, but if Mendenhall becomes Parker's full time vulcher, bri will be tough
zeph: rough day with autopick, zeph will have a tough time this year
Evicted: a bit weak at QB, but really solid everywhere else
Mnem:  If Bulger bounces back like most expect, Mnem will be tough with 2 top 10 RB's and 2 top 10 WR's
Ruck: A bit weak at RB, but solid everywhere else
DD: Really solid. Even better if Anderson, Turner, and McFadden have years like most expect them to.
Mystic: A bit shallow at RB, but solid, and if McNabb has a good year, so will mystic
Qbert: Headed for another good year, especially if the Steelers let Parker see any red zone carries.

No clear winner of this draft as far as I can tell, but then again I didn't do much prep work this season, so I'm not the best to judge

Also, I updated the Official thread with contact info.  If my computer is on, my aim and MSN are usually on, but I check my e-mail multiple times per day, so that's the best way to get ahold of me if I'm not online.

I am being forced to play through a proxy...so i hope i can update my team. for some reason it wont update a lot of the pages, like my main team page still says the draft is starting in 1 day and 13 hours. hahaha. but i am doing my best and have found ways around it to update stuff.

I would also like to announce here since I don't know if the email i tried to send made it to anyone, and if it did an offer may have been made and I just may not know about it.

But I am in the market for a RB, and I am offering up Chad Johnson as trade bait.

Message me on here and let me know, and I will propose the trade that way I know it works. Because it may or may not work if you offer it up. Depends on if i can figure out a way to refresh those god damn pages. haha.

Johnson is a big risk with that partially torn labrum.  Offers might be a little low just because of that.

Even missing the first 2-3 wks (which he says he will play) he should still put up pretty good numbers.

And you made a very good offer spec, but I have to decline because I am not comfortable having the seahawks back field as my running game. They play in the weakest div in the NFL, but I just don't want to rely on them having a big game every week just so I can keep pace with the guy I am playing

Aug 25 Johnson's shoulder injury is actually a partially torn labrum, an injury more serious than the Bengals initially let on, ESPN.com reports.
Recommendation: Johnson is expected to wear a harness and try to play through the injury all season, and avoid surgery. The surgery to correct the problem would be a season-ending one, presumably.

Bri, that offer was as much as I would offer for him.

IMO trade talk should be kept private to avoid the drama of previous years.

Look at the msg I sent you. Besides remember I once pulled off Cadillac for Alexander. I could care less if trades are discussed here, but seing how drama has unfolded every year it should be avoided IMO.
