I thought that making weekly threads would be better than having a huge massive thread. Easier to keep up with everything that way.
Apparently I was the only person who thought that the Redskins could beat the Giants ;x Oh well.

I had the redskins and changed it last minute ..... *phew* BTW does everyone know that once you pick a team in Survival you can't pick the same team again? A lot of people picked NE.

I picked NE just because the deadline came up quickly and I didn't have the time to really look hard at the matchups....so I went with the easy choice.
Although I almost did change it to Philly after chatting with Zeph about it a bit....but ultimately was too lazy.

Yup, did you see how quickly survival was done last year? Mostly because of people choosing closer games.

Week 1 is a perfect time to blow a juggernaut in Survival. Week 1 has the least sure things.

Week 1 is a perfect time to blow a juggernaut in Survival. Week 1 has the least sure things. Yep, back before we did Yahoo "Picks" and we just did picks here on the forum, we'd typically all go 9-7 or so. I'm surprised I'm the only one who picked the Jets. Granted I don't think it's all going to be perfectly smooth sailing with Favre at the helm now, but this Miami defense they're facing is TERRIBLE. They only won one game last year, and they LOST Jason Taylor. Yea, their offense got better, but not that much. Their top WR's are gone, and Ricky Williams should be good for a few fumbles. Maybe I did take a risk, but I'm surprised so many of you are picked the Steelers over Houston? Yea, the Houston D isn't stellar, but they aren't crap, AND they've got a pretty high powered passing game. People on Yahoo agree with you though, more people took the Steelers over Houston than Jets over Dolphins, but I don't see it!

After thinking a bit I saw that Chad Pennington was with the dolphins and that he might have a pretty good idea of the Jets play book. That alone had me try and pick something with a slighter low risk, at least until week 2.

let me give you my secret for being the CHAMP last year.
Pick the team that has the most sure chance of winning every week.
Pretty fucking simple you n00bs
losing my fantasy game is such a disappointment. fucking Ricky and Romo throwing that pic. But really Barber should have been on my team and its BS that he is now. I think the draft order was rigged again.
tough luck on that Homo Brady... who had him?

i just want to point out a few things about this clip http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80a96826TO got called for the smallest arm separation that probably would have lead to me winning my fantasy game. Look at Moss, he fucking throws the db out of the way and no call. 2nd Look at the fullback blocking the guy makes Patriot nation cry. He fucking tackles, grabs the dudes helmet. HOLDING... the guy finally breaks free and has to lung at brady causing the injury. Man that play reminds me of last year. All the no fucking calls on the Patriots. Throw in spygate. And i gotta say, thats some sweet justice for cheating, and cheating on the play. the icing is Moss, that fucking bitch, fumbling when no one even touched him. 20 - 1 for ever

You fucking lost. Eat it!
That's what you get for drafting and PLAYING Ricky Williams....dumbass.
On a serious note....almost everyone of your players scored or exceeded their projected score except for Williams and Welker. Shit, with just 4 of your players you could have beat almost every other team in the league. So you get VERY little sympathy ya big cry baby.

of course... Barber is my boy. he beat my team
Barber and Romo should be on my team... It's my birth right. I was going to take him with my first Pick.
Just wait till Farve beats your team. You will feel disappointed too

Let's get some trades going!
If you go to the League page, over on the right side of the navigation buttons up top there's one called Trading Block. I listed some players I'm willing to trade for straight up....others would take some discussion. We should utilize this feature! I know Spec did last year, and maybe one other person.....well, anyway, I think it is a cool feature.

Q, I had Brady...
I was down about losing him for ONE reason and ONE reason only, FF points. I personally can't stand the guy. I think he is obnoxious to look at and his cockiness takes the cake. The play was clean and Brady had his feet planted at the wrong place at the right time. Tough break for him, and now his shit team has to go on without him. I could NOT stand how they kept saying in the offseason how they were better than last year. Thats crap. They lost so much secondary there is no way they were gonna win even with another 50 TD season. Defense wins championships, not offense alone.
And then comes Bellishit and Moss... They make these stupid ass remarks on how the hit was "dirty play". WTF are they talking about? The guy was trying to move past a block, went to the ground and had some momentum and happened to lunge forward right as Brady had his feet planted for a bomb downfield. If Brady was still taking his steps back chances are his knee would have never been hit and with his legs loose still the injury more than likely would not have happened. Its football, injuries happen, get over it Mr. Spygate...and stop crying Moss, we know you suck without your buttbuddy to throw to you.
I am feeling ok because I do have Aaron Rodgers and if he keeps performing like last week I will be set with a good QB starter. Hopefully on my bye week Matt Ryan will step in and give me some good looks for that week.
