He's only out for 3 games. We should be ok and at the minimum win 1 of the next 3 even without him.

What really hurts us are the other injuries. Specially on Defense since we were banged up from week 1. Just to name a few noticebable ones:

Sam Hurd: Out for the rest of the season. Depleting an already thin WR corps.
Newman: Out for another month after having surgery. He's our best CB IMO.
Mcbriar: Out for the season. It always hurts when you lose a Probowler, specially when he almost always gets it inside the 20.
Felix Jones: Out for a month. Hopefully Tashard Choice can fill in.
Anthony Spencer: out for at least a week.
Roy Williams: out at least another week with a broken arm.
Adam "Pacman" Jones: Suspended 4 games. Status will be reconsidered after the bye week, might be banned from the NFL.

I think the Cowboys should win against St. Louis and if we can keep the running game going we should be able to beat Tampa Bay ( I think that game is up for grabs). We should lose against the giants ... they will blitz the hell out of Brad Johnson. After the bye week we should be getting most people back and the bench time should help Romo work with Garrett in fine tuning the offensive schemes. Cowboys should still make th playoffs and I think they should still make it to the SB (barring any other injuries). I'd rather have them struggle now, like the Giants did last season, than choke on the big game like NE Smiley.

All in all this just makes the NFC more interesting and arguably the best division in football Smiley.

Also depends on what they do for the trade deadline for 4 pm today. There are talks of Roy Williams moving over from Detroit.

There are strong talks of Jerry Jones trying to bring him here to get TO some help. More so now that we lost Sam Hurd. If JJ can bring Williams here after the bye week the Cowboys should be very tough to beat. Same can be said about the Packers if they can get healthy in the next couple of weeks. I still think that the Packers and Cowboys will be playing on the NFC championship game if healthy.

Henry is our best CB.  Not because he is the fastest, but because he is the smartest of the bunch.
He is banged up as well.

Anthony Henry? Naw man. Newman is the best CB we got. The Boy's were even contemplating in moving Henry to safety before we they all got the injury flu. Mike Jenkins will have to step up and show us why they spent a 1st round pick on him. But mainly the Big Boys up front have to step up on both sides of the ball.

While I agree that people do screw up and make mistakes in life and should get a second chance, there are different levels of infractions that should determine that.  This guy is clearly a piece of shit.  I wouldn't want my kids looking up to this guy no matter how great a player he is.  The guy has been involved in violence, drugs etc and to me that deserves a permanent ban from the NFL.

Remember, these players are PROFESSIONALS and they should act like them.  What I would give to be in any of those guys shoes enjoying aa fraction of what life they have been blessed with.  And what do they do?  Abuse their "privilege" that they believe is their "right" to play and stay in the NFL.  Pacman is a cancer of the NFL and needs to be extracted for good.  He has been given a gazillion chances.  There should be no reset mode where he goes to a new team and therefore can start all over again.  Thats a load of BS.  I think it was a BIG mistake of the Cowboys to bring him in.  Any players with a history of violence, drugs, sexual assault, etc should be banned...period.  And this shit where "oh he was brought up in a distrought family of disfunction...blah blah...no excuse...its time to take responsibility for your actions and accept the consequences.

Jerry Jones has this mindset that bringing in any big name is going to win them a championship.  Its not quantity, its quality and chemistry of the team as a whole.  Thats when players blossum and become the stars they are.  Not just bringing in big stars for the sake of having them.  What Jerry Jones fails to realize time and time again is the obvious.  T.O is a ticking timebomb which has already shown these past few weeks, then Pacman who is the obvious and now Roy Williams.  Williams himself I don't believe is the problem.  The problem is the first game Williams gets 14 catches and two touchdowns which TO gets 13 catches and one touchdown, all hell will break loose.

Terrell Owens:  "Buh we a teem!  I didn't get no looks u see!  Muh qotoback needs to look muh way some mo!  Weez a teem!  I need to feed   muh famlee"

I somewhat agree. After the 1 year suspension I think Pacman deserved his "second chance". You can't blame Jerry for bringing him in since basically he was a gift. Right now since he got suspended we basically get our pick back, from a business perspective it was a smart move. I do think Pacman should be banned from the NFL now. The incident itself is not a big deal since he did not violate in any part his contractual agreement with the Cowboys but in showing no regard for his probation, alcohol related incidents was the clause he violated, he should be banned. He was given a second chance and he was on a very short leash. The Cowboys did everything they could to keep him out of trouble. Deion is mentoring him and he was assigned body guards at all time (although the body guard was a factor in influencing the scuffle). Pacman had his shot, he did not give it his all he should be banned and made an example to other thugs that are currently playing in the NFL. IMO being in the NFL is all business but it is a blessing for them to be on playing there and it should not be taken for granted.

Now regarding T.O. Don't believe everything that the media says, especially ESPN. They try to make a story out of anything any player says (not just T.O.). T.O will not implode or mess the team up. He's a different T.O. than before and he has learned from his mistakes. I love it when they try to take what he says out of context and make a story out of it. Seems like everyone wants to stir things up with the Cowboys. Don't see a problem between Roy and T.O. like everyone seems to think (outside of TX).

If you lived in TX and got the Cowboys coverage we get here you would know what's really going on in Valley Ranch. Don't believe that TO BS.

And I do go to bed with my T.O. PJ's and I don't eat Jonesios ... I eat Romios!

Yes, the Cowboys media coverage has always been looked at as fair and balanced, and not sensationalized or made to look the team look better. There has never been an accusation of that.

Have you seen local coverage? It happens with every team. Look at how ESPN blew out of proportion the Vince Young incident for example.

If the boy's don't start playing together as a team (on defense and the offensive line), our playoff chances are slim. Although the Giants were like this at the beginning of last season so you never know.

Madden ... that's the only game I'm playing on my 360 right now. I got an error when joining the group, group should be recreated and see.
