I set the poll so that you can change your vote if you change your mind!
Currently receiving yards are 1 point per 20 yards, and we've discussed changing this at length in IRC, and what it does it is brings the receivers (both WR, TE) up to the production rate of RB's. Every Fantasy League I know of (NFL.com, ESPN.com, Yahoo.com - not sure about CBS) has recently switched to this, and it really works well for a good balance.
Also, given that our league has a FLEX roster spot, this makes it much easier to find a backup WR to fill that spot, and no longer is a RB worth double per yard.
In short, RB's are overvalued, and this move would increase all receiving yards (including RB receiving yards)

I am currently playing on a league that has this. Not a big fan of it to be honest.

This should just be merged with the PPR thread, since they both deal with WRs. I aired my opinion in that thread and don't feel like repeating it again here.

I'd do that, but then we'd get more options to pick from than voters. BUT, I suppose I could let everyone vote multiple times for as many options as they are okay with.
I'll try that right now.

I like it the way it is. It makes WRs too valuable.

RBs are way too valuable right now...this would just serve to even the playing field. Allow a player to make up for the loss of a RB with the potential of picking up a valuable WR off of the waiver wire, as WRs are much more plentiful.

Especially given that we're a 12 team league, AND that we use a flex position, I think that increasing the value of WR's balances things alot by making WR's a more viable option to be used as a FLEX.

RBs run and receive, which is why they are more valuable than WRs.

And there are far fewer of them, and we each start two per week, meaning that RB's still have more value as a result of scarcity.

there are 32 teams in the NFL and usually ~10 teams for fantasy football. Besides, there's usually people that can be picked up in free agency after the draft.
