Could care less either way on this one. Don't see a great upside, don't see great downside.
The upside is that when you really get into a close match, the decision is more likely to be made by whichever team did better, as opposed to a luck based result of whoever's players happen to get the most out of their yards. E.G. 20 rushing yards = 2 points, but 19 rushing yards = 1 point.
Maybe close matches should be luck based, like NFL overtimes, whoever wins the toss usually wins. This one doesn't really matter, a blowout is still a blowout, and a 10 point win, will still be a 10 point win. But those games decided by 2 points or less become a lot more intense if the scoring is more exact.
