First, AIG was lambasted as disclosures of its $1.2 billion bonus pool came to light. About $450 million of the bonuses were planned for employees of its financial services unit, the rogue hedge fund insider the insurer, which lost $40.5 billion later year. The Wall Street Journal reports at least seven individuals at that unit were due bonus payments of $3 million each.

AIG are fuck-wits. We had to bailout the banks, was important... But AIG squandered the money that was supposed to be for giving loans to businesses and instead used it for selfish bullshit that kept everyone moving right down the same path they were on before things went to shit. It's unfortunate... This would be one of those situations where I'm all for finding the douches responsible and locking them in a cage for life. There should be "Public Visiting Hours" where anyone who wants to come in and throw rotten fruit at them can, for $5, and they had to bring their own fruit. I figure that way, the little fuckers can pay for their own incarceration. We;ve financed their living expenses long enough...

The funny thing is, we still need to find some way to get banks to start making small business loans or else we're still fucked on anything even resembling the current American way of life surviving the next 5-10 years. That's not really funny "haha", more funny "queer."
