Michael Vick signed by the Eagles

Why doesn't it surprise me that it is the Eagles that have decided to sign Michael Vick?  Maybe because they are a team with honor?  With the worst fans in the NFL (maybe 2nd to the Raiders)?

What do you guys think?  The fact this man is going to be able to play again in the NFL brings me close to boycotting everything that is the NFL.  I need to think on this more to figure out exactly where I stand, so your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

What amazes me the most is how that motherfucker gets everything given to him, he pisses it away, commits a horrible crime, then gets released and gets to have the chance to get everything back again.  How many people would LOVE to have the opportunity that Vick has had and play as a clean player and human being outside of the league.


This guy had millions of dollars.  I would love to have JUST a million and this piece of shit gets what most of us would never have the chance in a lifetime to not once, but TWICE!!!



All I have to say is, congrats Eagles, you have just earned yourself the Most Hated Team Award...

I think the NFL has really taken over as the premier criminal league now. I would have figured the NBA would have run away with it.

I think everyone deserves a second chance. He served his time and that served as a humbling expierence for him he deserves a second chance. If he is trully sorry about the crime he did I'm cool with it. Now if he pulls a Pacman Jones then that's another story.

As far as the Eagles signing him, I think it's a good move. When he gets in shape and if they do some variation of the wildcat then Vick can really open up that playbook for them (again assuming he can get in football form and still has some speed). I think it also works for them in case Mcnabb gets hurt late in the season he can probably help carry the load.

I'm happy to see that Dungy is counseling him now and I think that will help Vick a lot to make amends for his mistakes, be more humble and hopefuly make him a better person.

I just watched Vick's interview on espn2 and I have to admit I think the man is sincere.  There's NO WAY he could have memorized what he said. That all came from the heart. Something he has talked to 'himself' about for a long time.  I think he will be a positive impact, at least community wise, for a lengthy duration ... hopefully the rest of his career.

he had a decent showing last night. 4/4 with 19 yrds. probably made a bad choice on his 1 qb keeper but overall showed he could still handle the pressure of an NFL game. and he played JAX first string def not their 3rd string or practice squad. so you gotta give him some credit.
