Just got a 3gs and was wondering if anyone has some cool or useful apps they would like to share.

Pandora (Slacker is sneaking up on Pandora, but right now they're interchangeable)
Yelp - Enhances your GPS into a portable guide

Just Plain Cool:

Midomi - Song Identifier
Remote - Control your PC itunes with your iphone
Mint - Very cool budget tool
Stanza - If you're a big reader

Fitness:
iFitness
RunKeeper - turns your GPS into a run tracker.

Games:
HoldEm (lots of posers out there.  Get the one made by Apple)

Very nice Rue!  Keep them coming!  Those are pretty cool.  Pandora is definately a good one as I link it into my head unit Bluetooth in my car and plays through it.

Save your thumbs and get Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search (both free).  Dragon Dictation does speech to text flawlessly.  You can then copy and paste into emails, texts, or safari.

For games I'd recommend Seed, and oldschool style RPG.  It's free but there are options to buy certain items/upgrades inside the app for real money.  You really wont need to buy anything to progress throughout the game.  I enjoyed Com2Us's Home Run Battle (there's a free version to check out). 

I've recently been sucked into Square's Song Summoner Encore.  It's a Final Fantasy Tactics style game. 

There are a few apps designed for EMS workers.  There are also a few police scanner style apps, my personal favorite being Emergency Radio.

Hey Spec nice list!  I have a few of those Apps...  Yelp is cool...try Urban Spoon.  It helps you decide what restaurant your in the mood for and uses a compass when you aim in the direction and tells you where it is and gives you reviews, pretty sweet.

Yeah. Put a warranty on your phone I've gone through 3 already . Latest replacement was yesterday, wireless chip died not common). The other times the button to enable/disable ring fell off (common problem according to apple).

Who is your warranty through?  I am considering Square Trade which I have for my PS3 and Flat Panel TV which I have used and they are great.

Google Voice on the phone would work as using Google Voice.

If you jailbreak you void the warranty so  you're all alone.

You do a restore with itunes and put it back to factory then take it in if you need too.

Search for jailbreak iphone with what ever version you have.

Just do some reading before you do anything and do a backup of your phone thru itunes.
