Sorry to disappoint. Maybe next time? I have "caught" one before as it lawn-darted from Brody and into my hand, tip first. There wasn't tears then either, but there was a lot more blood, and some creative cursing. If only there'd been a camera running.

War: The most confusing thing about that video is the guys outfit. Why does a ninja dress like a shock trooper? And what did those bottles ever do to him?
Spec: I have a long-standing rule about knifing. If I get cut, I don't complain - Would be fucking pointless to look at it otherwise, I'm playing with knives. I've gotten some real gems in the past that, for instance, put my right hand out of the self-pleasure business for weeks. Brody got off light here.
That said, you'll just have to hope you get lucky and that happens incidentally next time we have the camera running. What separates me from an emo kiddie is that I really, really, really don't want to get injured. I just have some hobbies that make that unavoidable.

Tosh can't be funny without a full staff and a green screen. I have higher aspirations than to entertain people who think making the fat joke on the one video in five that I don't refer to myself as "fat guy" actually effects me negatively.

Hah, actually I've tried to get the blades to burn. Used a couples of different flammable fluids, even used some burn gel that's supposedly for the purpose.
I would love to figure out a way to keep the knives on fire as they flew through the air, but they just don't. The wind always puts them out. Can't even keep them on for short juggling.
So you WOULD play knife catch with me? That'd please me.

We built a prop for the next shoot called "the Menorah of Death." It's a wooden structure, about 4 feet high, with a long board across the top horizontally with 6 nails sticking out, pointing up, 3 on each side. Each nail will accommodate a fruit or vegetable to be determined by availability, allowing me to slice through 6 thingimabobers at a time.
"But Josh!", you say, "Doesn't a menorah have 7 candles?"
Right you are, rhetorical person! The seventh "candle" will be added for the shoot to precede the next one. It's going to take us a little while to weld a ring of fire.
