Ruck, you can be commish again. I do think anyone can set it up, but I think it's easiest if Ruck does it. That way we have our historical records tied to the league and such. If you would rather not be commish Ruck, I'm willing to do it, but I'm totally fine with anyone else who wants to do it as well. Ruck, Yahoo has made renewing leagues nearly a one click thing. Ok a couple of things.
I went to renew and have to select some options.
1. Should I deselect the old Team managers so we can just add as we need ?
2. Whats a good date for the draft ?

So when I renewed my High School league, the easiest way was to invite all the old managers as they were listed last year. That is good for now. If you want to invite people who didn't play last year, like Briman, it gets a bit tricky. The easiest way is to increase the league size a few spots, and then go into "invite managers" and invite anyone you want through email. They'll take up the "new" spots that are created, and then if someone doesn't return to take over their team from last year, you can always delete their invite and shrink the league back down.
This will make more sense once you renew the league, but it is confusing.

For the draft Saturday works best for me. At worst I could possibly join a draft if it's late Monday - Wednesday.

I'm flexible on the draft. Sometimes the night of Labor Day can work good because people are home from any three day weekends they took. I'm flexible though, so whatever works well for the group is fine.
Also Ruck, you can change the draft time once the league is set up. We don't have to pick one now.

Well, Bri got left our last year, and we still had 10. I think we will have no trouble filling it up again. Plus, the number of spots in the league are also adjustable right up until the draft. So invite everyone that was in it last year (Yahoo remembers their usernames)
From there, Bri definitely wants to get in, so I can show you how to invite additional managers once we get it set up.

It might seem complicated, but if managers don't return, then eventually you just delete their old listing, and then re-invite them under the "non returning" manager invite option. From there it's first come first serve. But for now, how you did it is perfect. |
