It's awesome.

Anyone playing? I was kind of surprised to see how similarly in looks the new engine is to the old gamebryo engine. I understand that they'd want it to match up with the old, but it seems like they'd update it a bit more than they did.

I'm assuming the next Fallout will be in this engine. That'll be awesome. Graphically it may not be as cutting edge as I was expecting, but functionally, it's great. Bethesda games are notorious (due to gamebryo) for their crashes and bugs, and while I have seen a bug or two, compared to Oblivion at launch? It seems Bethesda got their shit together.

Going to grab it when I get the chance next month. Heard nothing but good things, both online reviews and word of mouth from friends who honestly don't know a good game when they see one. Like I say... always gotta try it to see for yourself.. and I am easily entertained and rarely disappointed.

Well, I still think it a great game, with an asterisk.

* Remember when I said this isn't that buggy for Bethesda? Turns out I hadn't gone deep enough. The PC version, even patched, has quite a few bugs... And I'm now stuck in 3 main questlines because of insurmountable bugs.

So... Very fun game. If it weren't for the bugs, I'd say best game I've seen in quite a while. But... Bugged to shit. Maybe wait a few more weeks for some more serious patches.
