Lame, anyone can share mp3s. My friends are to stupid to figure out how to rar chunk extract. and even still, we can't just ftp the files we want to upload or download?

Ok, so I didn't get the confirmation email. I go to the forums. I have to register there, so I do that. Then I see a thread from several other people that also didn't get the confirmation email. Response from the company: register again with a different email. So I do that. And I still don't get the confirmation email. So I read more in the forums, and there's a thread there for manual activation. So now I have to wait my turn in line while they validate my shit and "get around" to activating my account for me.
No, those email didn't go to spam folders or anything else. THEY WERE NEVER SENT. Oddly enough, though, I did get the forgotten password email (which was supposed to be one of those fixes they suggested), but that did nothing for me.

i tested it out, if you do a real ftp transfer, you log onto to the site anonymously into an incoming dir and everyone can see your files. you then go to the web console and select the files you want and it imports them to your folder. so i was selecting others people shit and uploading them to check out what they had. it was bound to a 35 meg tranfer to your own folder limit. however, you can upload a 700 meg file because their are some in there. but i couldn't copy those to my folder using the web admin. so i don't advise trying it. also once you transfer a file it deletes it from the public incoming. or you can go to the web manager and do some lame single file at a time upload crap. just the way merc likes it, one in the ass and then one in his mouth but not both at the same time. anyways, i guess this can still come in handy for some things. Did anyone ever break the googlemail file limit crap?

There are a lot of people on the forums calling bullshit on this site. Apparently, the dude has only been in business for 3 days, and there's a lot of shady background to the filefarmer site. Furthermore, MANY people are receiving cancellation emails saying that their webspace has been cancelled and will be deleted in 10 days. Given that there's no full ftp support for it, I'm thinking this offer really is too good to be true.

Hello, and thanks for signing up for a recent FileFarmer.com account. Many of our good users have had some trouble accessing their accounts, and we attempted to send out a mass email recently with the activation code for all those that missed it. Apparently this went wrong, and many of you received an email saying something like "Your account will be terminated in ten days" Please do not worry. Your account will not be terminated. We apologize for the incorrect email. If you have any questions please join us on our forums at http://filefarmer.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=610#610We understand that there are many worries and ill rumors spreading. We apologize and ask that everyone just act with patience and give our service a fair test. Thanks again, and I apologize for all the emails. The FileFarmer.com Team Hmm,,, we'll see what happens...

<--- Professional online "lead generator"
There are a lot easier ways to get a lot bigger lists then 2000 and NOT piss off everyone on the list.
