This might be OLD, but feel free to repeat it over and over http://hsvt.org/This is similar, not so much for giant riot control, but then again, maybe if they can strafe the crowd with it, who knows.

What about the agent whose had the bad day or trips and drops it, hurts himself, cant retrieve it in time and melts the .5 ployester blend shirt you have on to your body like the victims in Nagasaki after the Hbomb. And you were was drunk at a party after your football team won the championship.

Our president has done it a few times. I think that's close enough.

good point, but plenty of government endorsed things have an element of danger. just have to weigh risks and rewards

For those of you fearing the potential harm that might come to an 'innocent' rioter, remember that this would probably be one of the most extreme responses, people burning cars, looting buildings, and at that point you need significant measures. Other riot items aren't totally harmless either, Tear Gas can hurt people with existing respiratory problems, stun guns can harm people with heart conditions and pace makers, batons can leave bruises, and cuts etc. etc.

Water cannons can damage ear drums, eyes, cause bruises, falls, tear clothing, etc.
