Got started on first map this weekend. I dont plan on remaking more than 1 or 2 maps, started with a remake to warm up. Heres what I got on Vacant so far, about 4 hours in. I’ll post more shots as I complete more areas to get feedback from you guys.
So far my FPS are locked at the 63 fps cap. And theres no light overlapping at all.

Did you just copy paste the map file?
It looks exactly the same.
No I lost the map file, I recreated it. It will be different once I get further in. Its not as high vertically.
can you pull in q3 map files???
No, I think you can convert them to DOOM 3 format, and then open them. But player size is different in Q4.

Well if you can open it in DOOM 3 you can save it in D3 format and open it in Q4. I did it with Vacant as the corner piece in it is from my D3 map.
