I tend to disagree seeing how the league has move to a more passing offense and a RB by committee. Also it is much more likely that a WR will end up with a 100+ Yds game than a RB will in today’s NFL. If we move to a 15 yds + PPR I think it would be giving too much power to the WR’s + The RB’s will get the same points.
If the above takes place whoever drafts:
Warner + Boldin/Fitzgerald
or
Westbrook
would easily be the front runner to win it. I’m not against anything, I just think more thought has to be put into this. Yahoo changes the settings every year to match the trends of what’s going on in the NFL and it usually works out. Not sure what the defaults were this year though. Maybe we should wait and see what the Yahoo presets are and take it from there.

Nope, it doesn’t work like that at all. Increasing the value of receiving yards decreases any one player’s ability to truly dominate the league, by making every position a contender to score the most points that week. With the current scoring method, RB’s or QB’s are almost always the top scorer on each team, any given week. But with 3 WR positions, and one TE position scored at 10 yards per point, now you have increased the value of those four positions and now they have a realistic chance of being your top scorer.
The result is a more challenging draft, more competitive and higher scoring weekly matchups, and the best reason of all, the legitimate use of a waiver wire WR in the Flex position if you can’t find a RB to use in a bye week.
RB’s are still going to be the most valuable, but now you can finally make the argument that a Moss or a TO is a worthy first round draft pick, and not just if they have their career year that year.
