thou shalt not kill
maybe he forgot?
What did you expect from the religious “right”.
Oh, come on Ruck. Stop posting idiotic statements from evangelists that happen to be complete idiots as “conservative fact”..
If I were to round up all of the left-wing counterparts of guys like Pat Robertson, I’d have an army that could fill Yankee Stadium like a cereal bowl!
Wow, he invoked communism and Muslim extremism.
He should’ve mentioned the drug trade for the hat trick.
/applaud
lol
good one.
Dont think I condone the far left either btw.
And also FYI Pat Robertson is a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY rich, powerful, and influential person.
And I do like Gels response … although it is just a small cornflake in the “Yankee stadium cereal bowl” that is religous hypocracy.
State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Tuesday that Robertson has the right of any private citizen to say whatever he wants, but added that the broadcaster’s remarks “do not represent the views of the United States.”
So in actuallity you CAN say that you wish OUR president is assasinated … Didnt we argue that point some time and about 4 forums ago ![]()
No average citizen goes to jail in other countries for praising 9/11 or wishing President Bush were assassinated - theres no double standard. Whats your point?
I think Ruck’s point is that Robertson and others like him is a complete fucktard.
I was really warned of impending doom when I said something to that effect like 6 months ago or so. But now I know its ok !!
A little late for Bush’s death to mean anything to me. The damage is done. And Chaney would be an even more lopsided dictator.
And heres a quote for ya Blade. This should clear up the blur you seem to have between evangelists and “conservative fact”
But Venezuela’s ambassador to the United States, Bernardo Alvarez, said Robertson was “no ordinary private citizen” and demanded the White House strongly condemn the remarks.
Alvarez said the Christian Coalition, which Robertson no longer leads, claims some 2 million members and helped jump-start President Bush’s 2000 presidential campaign after his New Hampshire primary loss.
“Robertson has been one of this president’s staunchest allies,” he said.

Just b/c the religious right decides to help a President get elected doesn’t mean the President agrees with them. That’s like condemning Senator Clinton b/c Micheal Moore fans vote for her.
I think his order of importance in this quote exposes the clearest blueprint of his soul :
"We are in the midst of a war that is draining vast amounts of our treasure and is costing the blood of our armed forces.
Freudian to a tee.
He even contradicted himself right off the bat about “removal” instead of assasination hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Good enough indicator for me, that guy’s a douce-bag. Though I wouldn’t vote for her because of her “Pro-Censorship, Anti-Blowjob” platform.
ok this forum is dead so I’ll breathe some life back into it
Maybe we should take a page from the British and deport his ass for inciting terrorist rhetoric .
I say we send him to Cuba !!
I think we are forgetting who the chairman of the Democrat’s party is.
Is an organization lead by that lunatic the alternative we want? Calling an assaination is hardly extremist, both republicans and democrats in the past have done it. However, everything Howard Dean does, including but not excluding eating breakfast, is very much an extreme.
Who had that picture of him on stage screaming into the mosh of that concert?
DD, I’m shocked. It’s so “In” to go after Howard Dean because he’s a bit wound up. In actuality, he couldn’t run half a mile without needing to pause and shout “WHOA-HAY THATS EXCITING!” until his heart stopped threatening to seize.
Why is it everyone dodges the real issue; Anti-Blowjob politicians? I mean, come on. Our current president spent years and years snorting everything that came over that Texas border, but Clinton gets shit for “Once, but I didn’t inhale”.
Blade, sweety, you know I love you. But come now. I’ll be the first to admit (And I have on these forums rather recently) that Liberals and Conservatives both have seriously fucked up individuals who I want to strangle for being too extreme (Depending on who you ask, some people want to strangle me for being a “moderate extremist”… At least until I beat them unconscious with my patented “Mushroom Stamp of Disapproval”), but the asshole in question this time holds a lot more sway then Howard Stern, Adam Corolla, and that Jew who runs Hollywood put together.
[quote]M. G. “Pat” Robertson has achieved national and international recognition as a religious broadcaster, philanthropist, educator, religious leader, businessman, and author. He is the founder and chairman of The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) Inc., and founder of International Family Entertainment Inc., Regent University, Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, American Center for Law and Justice, The Flying Hospital, Inc. and several other organizations and broadcast entities

This fucker has power. His followers aren’t just people who smoke a lot of pot and spend entire weeks watching southpark DVDs. Nu uh. His followers have power as well. This is the guy from “The 700 Club”. You leave your TV on any of 20 cable channels for too long, you’ll run across a syndicated propaganda machine this guy personally molds. Scary, scary shit.
That said, I think we’re all focusing on the wrong thing here. I consider this a freedom of speech issue. I personally think Pat is as nutty as a hooker after starring in a bukkake video, but that aside, he still had the right to say whatever the fuck he wanted. Doesn’t even need to be taken too seriously. Everyone here has said “Oh, that fucker should be beaten to death with a rusty vibrator” at one point in time about someone. Out of anger, passion, or marajuana-induced rambling after having the munchies and eating a bowl of cerial about a third the size of yankee stadium. Doesn’t matter. The guy may be a dipshit, but so is 95% of everyone else on TV or radio. This comes down to is liberals jumping on a bandwagon that they usually try to blow up whenever it’s being used against them.
He’s definitely the exact opposite to Michael Moore. Michael Moore makes cheesy shotty misleading movies to brainwash, Robertson turns to religion to brainwash. I agree that religion is the most dangers form of brainwashing strategy, but its no different that the uneducated masses seeing Farenheit 9-11.
Blade’s point is that in his opinion there are far more wackjobs in the Liberal Party. I’d personally put it at about 66%/33% Liberal/Conservative. I mean, just look at Hollywood.
Zera: Stinger and I actually had an understanding there..
You’re pretty close to my point, though. It’s not so much that there are more liberal whackjobs than conservative dolts (which may or may not be true) but I meant to counteract Ruck’s right-wing bashing with a more all-encompassing step back. I just felt that the Ruckster is a little bit one-sided (as are many of us) and I thought it prudent to say “this Christian celebrity came out and said something a little extreme/stupid.. so? I’ve heard so many stupid opinions and comments from your side of the political spectrum that I think the right deserves a mulligan or ten” … ![]()
